In case when an operation confirming test is executed, the sequence control is stopped by setting a switch 17 to STOP, and thereafter, an output number of an apparatus for controlled system 4 is set from a keyboard 33 of a program input/output unit 3. As a result, an output control signal is outputted onto a signal bus 15 through a keyboard control part 34, and a flip-flop of the output number concerned of an input/output interface 2 is turned on and off directly through an input control part 14, by which the operation is confirmed.
