Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a gas laser tube having small size and light weight by providing a cicumferential projection in the vicinity of the glass side of a metallic circular tube connected to the sealing tray of a mirror, thereby eliminatig the influence of the deformation due to the bending adjustment to the enclosure glass side. CONSTITUTION:Mirror sealing trays 3 which seal mirrors 2 are provided at both ends of a gas laser tube, and are connected via a metallic circular tube 12 to a vacuum enclosure 4. A circumferential projection 13 is formed by embossing or bulging in the vicinity of the glass side of the enclosure 4 of the tube 12, and the enclosure 4 is hermetically sealed at the back surface of the projection 13. The side (b) connected to the enclosure 4 of the tube 12 is reinforced with the projection 13 and is connected to limit the part (a) of the deforming range when the tube 12 is bent at the side (a) with a laser adjustment tool, thereby eliminating the influence of the enclosure 4 to the glass side.
