Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the shortening of sealing time by a method wherein mirrors and sealing glass are mounted into sealing pans and simultaneously sealed. CONSTITUTION:Mirror supporting bodies 2', 10 provided with sealing pans 6', 9 facing in the same direction are connected at both ends of a laser tube 1, and mirrors 4, 4' are supported by means of sealing glass 3', 7. The mirrors 4, 4' are sealed by means of the sealing glass 3', 7 as follows. The sealing pan 9 is placed on a sealing base, the mirror 4 is entered into the sealing pan 9, the sealing glass 7 is placed on the mirror, and the mirror supporting body 10 is entered into the sealing glass 7. The mirror 4' and the sealing glass 3' are placed on the other sealing pan 6'. The sealing glass 3', 7 are simultaneously melted under such a condition.
