Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid disturbance due to bubbles in a propagation path with the correction of waveforms received by adjusting the cycle of a ultrasonic pulse train along the switching of the polarity received when the propagation time is detected with the rising of the zero cross pulse as the arrival of the received wave. CONSTITUTION:Ultrasonic pulses emitted from a transmitter 1 are received by a receiver 2 and input into a peak level comparator 7 by way of an amplifier 6-1, a received polarity switching circuit 13 and an amplifier 6-2. The comparator 7 compares the ultrasonic pulses with a reference level Vp and outputs the results to a rising ratio detection circuit 10 through AGC circuit 8 and a peak position memory circuit 9. The output compared with a reference level Vzs is provided to a zero cross comparator 12 and the arrival of the received wave is determined by the rising of zero cross pulses. Any abnormality of the received wave changes the polarity of the circuit 13 by an abnormality signal and further varies the pulse train cycle of a transmission frequency adjusting circuit 3 of the transmitter 1. This enables the correction received waveforms thereby removing effect of bubbles or the like in a propagation path.
