CONSTITUTION:Into a heat-sensing coloration layer which contains colorless and light color leuco dyestuffs and acidic substance or phenolic compound, which reacts to the leuco dyestuff to cause it to color when heated, water-soluble inorganic salts (sodium chloride and magnesium sulfate, etc. whose pH of 1% water solution desirably ranges 5-9) is further added at the rate of 0.5-10times in weight of the leuco dyestuffs. By providing said heat-sensing coloration layer on a supporting body, the objective heat-sensing recording material is obtained.
