Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform the stepless adjusting of the position of a belt anchor, by engaging a slide member secured with a belt anchor slidably with a guide rail secured to a center pillar then securing said slide member at random position. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail 11 having a guide groove 11a is secured to an inner panel 1a of a center pillar 1. A slide member 12 is arranged slidably up and down while engaging the flange 12a with said groove 11a. A holding member 13 for a through-anchor 5 is secured through a bolt 14 penetrating through an elongated hole 11b in the rail 11 to said slide member 12. Here a rack 19 is also held between the members 12, 13 through a bolt 14 to move the member 12, anchor 5 and the rack 19 integrally up and down. A movable nut 21 is fixed to the rail 11 and to be applied with a stopper screw 22. A pinion engaging with the rack 19 is secured to said screw 22 while an adjust knob 25 is secured at the tip of said screw 22. Said knob 25 is rotated to move the anchor 5 up and down.
