Abstract

The hinge is for use with doors, windows etc. and has a separate cylindrical component (10) notches at the top and with a lug extending downwards. This is very accurately fitted on the axis of the male portion, between the male and female portions of the hinge. The lug can merely be a cylindrical or rectangular piece fitted in the body. The female portion of the hinge can be notched on the underside rounded portion, so as to adjust itself in the central supporting portion of the stop. The notches can all be identical so as to fit together in several different combinations, and so that the lug can approach or withdraw frm its stop, which is the flat part of the male portion fixed to the door frame.
