Abstract
PURPOSE:To set an anchor point of the webbing properly by providing a passive seat belt device so that a buckle or a tongue attached to the end of a support member can be adjusted in elevation and/or angle. CONSTITUTION:A shoulder arm 1 is provided so as to slide back and forth in response to opening and closing of a door along a guide rail G provided along the roof side of a car interior, and a support member 6 having a buckle 2 at one end is fitted to the shoulder arm 1 so as to allow angle adjustment, i.e., a multitude of locating grooves 8 are provided at the base of the support member 6, which is pivotted by a pin 7 together with an auxiliary arm 4 to the tip of the arm 1. The other end of the auxiliary arm 4 is fitted to the arm 1 by a pin 5, and a latch 11 is inserted into long holes 9, 10 provided on the auxiliary arm 4 and the arm 1, then the latch 11 is engaged to one of the locating grooves 8 by use of a spring 14 so that the support member 6 can be adjusted in angle.
