Abstract

The catch is fitted to a caravan refrigerator to hold the door when travelling. It comprises a flat plate (3) fixed to the body (1) of the refrigerator, an extension (5) at the front forming a pivot (6) for an adjustable head (7). This has four recessed slots (28) in its upper surface, these being equally spaced at 90 deg. intervals. At one point, in alignment with a slot, the head has a short extension (12), terminating in a downwards projecting nose catch (13, 14). The head is spring loaded and can be clicked round to hold the door (2), release it or clip into a recess (30) to hold it partly open.
