Abstract

1503271 Seat belt anchorages HAKANSSONS MANUFAKTUR AB 28 Jan 1976 [4 Feb 1975] 03342/76 Heading A3V A seat belt anchorage comprises means for adjustably mounting and positioning the end of a seat belt on the door pillow or floor of a motor vehicle comprising a slide 7 movable in a guide 2 with a releasable locking means such as a bolt 12 which acts with a conical surface 13 on mating conical surfaces 11 of sliding bolts 10 to lock the slide. A pin 15 on the end of bolt 12 may be used to assist the locking action. The guide member may be covered by a padded hinged cover 27. In an alternative embodiment the guide channel is replaced by guide bars and only a single bar 10 is provided. Instead of conical surfaces a ball bearing may be used to cooperate with the conical end of the bolt. A spring urged bolt may be used instead of a threaded one.
