Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a stable combustion of the heavy oil ash in a fluidized bed by a method wherein a temperature in the bed and a temperature in the vacant furnace are applied as a control reference value, volume of oil supplied in the bed is applied as a first signal and the temperature in the vacant furnace is applied as a second signal and thereby the volume of oil in the bed is controlled. CONSTITUTION:Calory of the typical heavy oil ash and its differential thermal analysis value are measured, a reference temperature in the bed is selected from these values and a temperature of the vacant furnace is selected to set a desired value in reference to a viscosity of the ash and a condition of the production of NOX. Volume of oil supplied in the bed and to be measured by the flow meter 2a is applied as a signal, a height of the bed is controlled in response to whether a temperature of the vacant furnace thermometer 1g is high or low and then whether NOX value of NOX meters 5b and 9a for the exhaust gas is high or low, a volume of heavy oil ash to be supplied is changed or a water spray 25a is used and then a feed-back control is performed for the volume of oil supplied in the bed. These controls are performed by a control box 18.
