Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled composition, containing an unsaturated epoxy ester, an α.β- unsaturated ethylenic monomer, a photosensitizer and a peroxide, and capable of improving the reliability, etc. of electrical appliances and reducing the treating time of an insulation, and usable for insulating the electrical appliances.
CONSTITUTION: A composition prepared by incorporating (A) an unsaturated epoxy ester having a resin acid value ≤5, and obtained from a polyepoxide, e.g. glycidyl polyether of a polyhydric phenol, and an α.β-unsaturated monobasic acid, e.g acrylic acid, with (B) an α.β-unsaturated ethylenic monomer, e.g. styrene, (C) a photosensitizer, e.g. benzoin, and (D) a peroxide, e.g. benzoyl peroxide. The amounts of the components are preferably as follows: 70W30pts.wt. component (B) based on 30W70pts.wt. component (A), 0,1W3wt%, based on the total amount of the compnents (A) and (B), component (C), and 0.5W3wt%, component (D) based on the total amount of the components (A) and (B).
