CONSTITUTION:When a switch T1 is closed and a switch S1 is opened to operate in a current control mode, a control device 11 for a drive motor 12 is controlled by a current control device 15 controlled with the output of a rate amplifier 17 connected to a current reference setting unit 19 and the output of a current detection converter 16. During this operating period a feedback signal by a speed detection converter 22 is inputted from a comparison arithmetic unit 24 to a rate amplifier 23. When the switch T1 is opened and the switch S1 is closed to operate in the speed control mode, the control device 11 is controlled via a speed reference setting unit 25, the rate amplifier 23, the speed detection converter 22 and a speed controller 21. During this operating period the feedback signal by the converter 16 is inputted from a comparison arithmetic unit 18 to the rate amplifier 17.
