Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a titled steel plate at a low cost by immersing an undefatted cold rolled steel plate in electrolyte contg. specific metallic ions and a surfactant, plating the same by applying DC voltage superposed with AC voltage thereto then carrying out zinc hot dipping. CONSTITUTION:An undefatted steel plate subjected to cold rolling is immersed in electrolyte contg. metallic ions of any of Ni, Cu, Co and a surfactant, and the DC voltage superposed with AC voltage is applied between a proper good conductor and the steel plate in the direction where the steel plate deviates negative (cathode). Then, oil components are removed by the gaseous oxygen generated on the steel plate surfaces when said surfaces are polarized to positive (anode) and plating metal is stuck thereon when they are polarized to negative (cathode). This is repeated for the cycle number in one second, whereby Ni, Cu or Co is electrodeposited with good efficiency. Next, if necessary, the steel plate is subjected to washing, roll squeezing and drying, after which it is passed through a continuous zinc hot dipping line, whereby it is carried out with the zinc plating.
