Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a conductive film with excellent transparency and liquid crystal resistance by forming a transparent conductive layer on an optically isotropic composite film obtained by applying a curable resin on the single side or both sides of a specified amorphous synthetic resin film. CONSTITUTION:A amorphous synthetic resin (example, polysulfone resin) with the glass transition temperature of 80 deg.C or more is treated by a dry method to make a film or a sheet with the thickness of 5 to 500mu and retardation value of 30mmu or less, curable resin (example, epoxy resin) and monomer [example, pentaerythritol tetra- (meth)acrylate] are applied to a single side or both sides of the film or sheet and these coated film or sheet is cured to obtain a substrate composed of an optically isotropic composite film. Then metallic oxide or metallic film is evaporated on the substrate to form a transparent conductive layer. Thus, the transparent conductive film for liquid crystal display device with excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance, moisture permiability resistance, gas permiability resistance, light resistance, and flexibility can be obtained.
