Abstract

PURPOSE: To lower molding cost by making an apparatus smaller and utilizing heat effectively using compressed air required for molding which is heated to the predetermined temperature through a film heating apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: Thermoplastic synthetic resin film 1 heated and softened through a heating apparatus 2, is sent to the molding part 3 intermittently, is pressed under compressed air at the molding part 3 and is shaped into a concave 5 to obtain a desired form. Compressed air used for molding is heated beforehand during passing through the passage made within an upper heating part 2a of the heating apparatus 2 and is sent to air passage 4 of the upper mold 3a via a base 8 and the heated compressed air is blown to the film 1 to shape as the concave 5. Thus the heating apparatus and the temperature controller etc. to heat compressed air become unnecessary.
