Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a device, by using an auxiliary storage device for a velocity error signal as a digital storage device, compensating a velocity error stably and with high accuracy, and using an A-D converter in common with a main storage device. CONSTITUTION:An input video signal from an input terminal 10 is applied to a write clock generating circuit 17, horizontal and vertical synchronizing signals and a burst signal are outputted from a syncronization separating circuit of this circuit 17, and also a write clock signal is outputted. This clock signal is supplied to an A-D converter 12, and also is applied to a main storage device 13 and a digita auxiliary storage device 19 through a controlling circuit 18. Also, a velocity error signal at every 1 horizontal period related to a reproducing burst signal from the circuit 17 is applied to a voltage-current converting circuit 20, and its output is provided to a switching device 11 for inputting a video signals, through a switch 21, and is controlled and switched by the circuit 18. An output of this switch 11 is digitized by the converter 12, is provided to the devices 13, 19, respectively, and the constitution of a time base error compensation device is simplified.
