Abstract
PURPOSE:To extract the first block synchronizing signal of a field without the influence of mechanical fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:A video signal is subjected to A/D conversion into samples each of which consists of 8 bits, and one block consists of 96 samples. A synchronizing signal consists of 3 samples, and the first block of a field consists of 6 sampled. At a recording time, one sample is converted to 10 bits. At a reproducing time, the bit synchronizing signal is sent to a block synchronizing detecting circuit 5 and is compared with a prescribed pattern by the circuit 5; and when a synchronizing signal is detected, a signal SY1 is obtained, and a counter 7 is preset by this signal to count following bits. When the count value becomes 30, a counter output C0 is issued, and a signal SY2 is obtained from an AND gate 6. When the signal SY2 exists in the time of window pulses, the signal SY2 indicates the first block of the field.
