Abstract
PURPOSE:To take an accurate address read which is never influenced by a dropout by adding an address signal to a video signal as binary information in the vertical blanking interval of the video signal and then by modulating and recording it. CONSTITUTION:A horizontal synchronizing signal separated from video signal A is gated by vertical synchronizing signal B and then inputted to counter 3, which counts 3 3H intervals right after an equivalent pulse. The output of counter 3 is decoded by decoder 5 into a 3H-interval positive pulse, which is used as a gate signal, so that recording at the same address will be repeated about three times in each 1H interval. Address information is changed by address signal generation part 6 into BCD codes, which are inputted to shift register 7. Register 7 lets monostable multivibrator 9 output signal G of pulse width set less than the period of clock pulse D and greater than half its period to mixer circuit 10, and FF11 outputs an address signal. For reproduction, the same gate signal at that in recording mode is obtained by horizontal and vertical synchronizing separator circuits, counter, and decoder and address information is obtained by the signal from a clamping circuit to perform completely the opposite operation, thereby extracting address signal BCD.
