CONSTITUTION:In case of reproducing in a two-fold tape speed, a clock frequency fCA is twice as high as a clock frequency fCB. A signal reproduced by a reproducing head 4 is analyzed into a pitch period and a spectrum by a sound analyzer 6. The output of the sound analyzer 6 is written to shift registers 7 and 8 through changeover switches 2-1 and 2-2 at every frame period. Contents of these shift registers are read out by clock pulses fCB through a changeover switch 2-5 interlocked with switches 2-1 and 2-2 and are synthesized into the original sound and are outputted to an output terminal 5.
