Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable reliable transferring of a brilliant metallic pattern having an excellent close adhesiveness on an arbitrary glass surface, by a method wherein, after an under coat is formed with paint, having an affinity with glass, in the glass surface, a hot stamping and a stamping are performed.
CONSTITUTION: After a glass surface is cleansed, paint, whose main component is synthetic resin such as epoxy resin having a better affinity and close adhesiveness with glass, is applied on the glass surface to form an under coat layer. After the under coat layer is preliminarily dried to be brought into a half- couring condition having a substantially no adhesiveness, the under coat layer is caused to touch a hot stamping foil, and a brilliant metallic transfer is performed by pressurizing the foil by means of a heating elastic substance wherein a desired stamping is performed. The under coat layer is then perfectly dried by heating to monolithically adhere the glass surface, the under coat layer, and a transfered part. An over coat layer is formed where neccessary.
