PURPOSE:To make possible the detection of targets at the constant error alarming rate against the output of a moving target detecting circuit by judging a parameter from the mean value as the result obtained by logarithmically converting a signal received by a radar. CONSTITUTION:A reflected signal from searching space is received 20 and a movving target signal is detected 30 from the reflected signal and then this output is logarithmically converted 40. Of the logarithmically-converted 40 output, the mean value within the specified length of time is obtained and the mean value is subtracted from one of the outputs during the fixed time and then the reduced output is cologarithmically converted. In addition, a threshhold value is outputted 403 in proportion to the output of a parameter computing means 402, while an utput above the treshhold value is extracted against tne output of the cologarithmically converting means 40.
