Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a movable part and reduce faults of the device by sensing the variation in buoyancy by a load sensor based on the variation in the liquid level acting on a cylindrical body a part of which is immersed in the liquid. CONSTITUTION:The liquid 2 is contained in a tank 1, and a load cell 3 for sensing the load is fixed at a specified position over said liquid 2. The hollow cylindrical body 4 is arranged at the lower position so that its central axis is aligned in the vertical direction. The cylindrical body 4 and the load cell 3 is connected by a linking rod 5, and the buoyancy acted on the cylindrical body 4 from the liquid is transmitted to the load cell 3. The electrical output of the load cell 3 is given to a display 7 via an amplifier 6.
