Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the content of COD in the waste water to ≤10ppm, by oxydation-depositing COD elements contained in the waste water which is freed of bentonite and added with oxidizing agent and iron salt, while pH value of the water being kept as ≤5pH and setting deposited iron salt of COD elements accompanied with iron hydroxide.
CONSTITUTION: The waste water, after removing of the bentonite contained in wasted muddy water, is sent to an oxidizing tank 1 and added there with sodium hydrochlorite as an oxidizing agent A and iron salt as a flocculant B. In this case, the waste water is agitated for 3min while pH value of the water being kept at around 30 and carboxyl-methylene-cellulose and sodium sulphonate in the waste water are oxidized and decomposed so as to easily flocculate to iron salt. Then, the treated waste water is sent to a flocculation tank 2 and added there with 5% caustic soda solution C so that fibrous iron chlorides can be deposited from the water under the condition of 4W4.5pH value and settled accompanied with iron hydroxide. The waste water is then sent to a settling tank 3 and separated there into sediments E and supernatant water F which is neutralized in a neutralization tank 4 and sent to a filter machine 5 for removing SS contents.
