Abstract

PURPOSE: To control a position detecting roll to a fixed position even if a press contact roll is detached from a winding coil at turret operation in a turret winding machine, by applying a position signal of the position detecting roll as a reference current signal of a winding motor.

CONSTITUTION: A wound material 1 is wound to a winding coil 2 driven to a direction X by a winding motor 3 of DC motor or the like. Here a pressure contact roll 4 is press contacted to the winding coil 2 to prevent the material 1 from its zigzag movement. This press contact roll 4 is driven by a press contacting motor 5 speed controlled by output of a position detector 8 connected to a position detecting roll 6 vertically displaced in accordance with tension of the material 1. Further the press contacting motor 5 is controlled its speed in accordance with deviation of each output of a detector 21, detecting speed of the motor 5, and a reference setter 22. Here output of the above described position detector 8 is also added to a current reference signal, which is a deviation signal of each output of a current setter 24 at a control side of the winding motor 3 and an armature current detector 25.
