CONSTITUTION:A solenoid 16 is equipped with a plunger 30 movable to the inside of the solenoid 16, and this plunger 30 is linked movably to both a head lever 12 and a pinch roller lever 14. When the solenoid 16 is energized and the plunger 30 is drawn into the solenoid 16, switching to an FF or REW mode, head switching in auto reverse to manual mode, or switching of the head lever 12 and pinch roller lever 14 to their neutral positions in cassette ejection is performed adequately.
