Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the boiling-up temperature of hot water to be automatically optimized in accordance with the change in the outside air temperature, and the power consumption to be automatically flattened. CONSTITUTION:The outside air temperature is drawn into a microprocessor 6 from a sensor 6. The power supply quantity and the boiling-up temperature which are optimum in accordance with said outside air temperature are determined according to the program incorporated in the microprocessor 6 beforehand, and the determined temperature is applied to a power-controlling element 2, as a current passing signal, through a photocoupler 3. On the other hand, when the optimum temperature is sensed by means of a hot-water temperature sensor 10, the signal having been applied to the power-controlling element 2 through the photocoupler 3 is shut off in order to reduce the energy loss produced according to the quantity of high- temperature residual hot water.
