Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize the quick copying without any shift of colors, by forming the latent images according to >=2 exposure colors when an exposure is carried out by a light source of other than single color light and carrying out >=2 types of toner developments at a time. CONSTITUTION:For a photoreceptor 13, the latent images are formed in accordance with >=2 color patterns during an exposure, and a multicolor development is possible with a development process. A liquid crystal shutter array 11 receives the color signal from outside and produces the optical signal while varing the transmitted color. For the optical signal, the areas of the red light, the white light and the dark part are distributed to a positive value, zero and a negative value respectively on the photoreceptor 13 and through an optical system 10. A developing machine 14 carries out the development in red and black colors with use of a mixture agent of a negatively charged red toner and a positively charged black toner.
