Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a toner very stable to an environmental change from low temp. and low humidity to high temp. and high humidity by blending an adequate amount of epoxy resin and polyamide resin to prepare the toner for dry developing an electrostatic charge image.
CONSTITUTION: A colorant such as carbon black is added to a mixture of 100 pts.wt. epoxy resin and 1W25pts.wt. polyamide resin to prepare a toner for dry developing an electrostatic charge image. This toner is then mixed with carrier particles such as glass particles or iron powder to manufacture a developer. Since epoxy resin tends to increase the charge quantity with a humidity rise and polyamide resin tends to decrease the charge quantity with a humidity rise, by suitably blending the resins, electric charging stabilized to a change in humidity and temp. is attained.
