Abstract

PURPOSE: To make treating cycle time extremely short and enhance the operating efficiency of expensive devices by reducing the preheating time for the work to be treated and combining and functioning a series of processes specified organically by the specific devices.
CONSTITUTION: The work to be treated 10 is treated in a high-temp. high-pressure furnace 1 for titled pressing, and the work to be treated 11 is preheated under pressure in a pressure type preheating furnace 2. Another preheating furnace 2' is held in a high temp. under atmospheric pressure. Upon completion of the treatment in the furnace 1, the work 12 is inserted into the furnace 2', and the high-pressure gas in the furnace 1 is introduced until prescribed pressure is reached by opening valves 8, 9. After closing of the valves 8, 9, the heating of the work 12 under pressure is started immediately. At this time, the excess gas in the furnace 1 is sent to a gas storage tank 3 by a compressor 4 and when the inside of the furnace 1 restores atmospheric pressure, the work 10 is taken out. On the other hand, the gas in the furnace 2 is sent into the tank 3 by a compressor 4 and the inside of the furnace 2 is reduced of pressure down to atmospheric pressure. After the work 11 is immediately transferred into the furnace 1, the gas is fed from the tank 3 into the furnace 1 until prescribed high pressure is reached and the treatment is started again.
