Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain accurate playback information signal, by rotating a motor with an error signal through phase comparison of a frequency signal in response to the location of a disc redially and a revolution detecting signal respectively, while required information signal is played back at the start of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:The output of a voltage controlled oscillator 8 is fed to a phase comparator 10 via a change-over switch 9 as reference signal at starting. On the other hand, the revolution of a motor 14 is input to a phase comparator 10 via a rotation detector 11 and a change-over switch 12 and the phase error signal with the oscillation output is input to a servo circuit 13 to control the motor 14. Thus, tracking is made quickly, change-over switches 9, 12 are changedover to the contact (b) side after tracking, the reference frequency from a reference oscillator 15 and a playback synchronizing signal 16 are input to a phase comparator 10, the motor 14 is driven with the phase error signal from the two and control is made the same as the line speed at recording.
