Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a polymer polyol which can provide readily a good polyurethane, by polymerizing a monomer in a polyol mixture containing a nitrogen-containing linkage-carrying unsaturated polyol prepared by use of a polyisocyanate compound.
CONSTITUTION: A nitrogen-containing linkage-carrying unsaturated polyol in which at least two of the three hydroxyl group-containing components defined blow are bonded together through the polyisocyanate compound defined below, is prepared from the following three hydroxyl group-containing compounds: saturated poylol having at least two hydroxyl groups, an unsaturated polyhydroxy compound having at least two hydroxyl groups and at least polymerizable unsaturated group and an unsaturated monohydroxy compound having one hydroxyl group and at least one polymerizable unsaturated group, and a polyisocyanate compound having at least two isocyanato groups. Then, a polymer polyol is prepared by polymerizing a monomer in the thus-prepared polyol mixture containing a nitrogen-containing-linkage carrying unsaturated polyol.
