Abstract
PURPOSE: To control an air/fuel ratio almost constantly over the entire operating of an engine by controlling in such manner that a mixed air/fuel gas ratio into a combustion chamber may be almost equal to an air/fuel ratio at time of exhaust gas reflux, when reflux out or reduction of an exhaust gas is controlled under an exhaust gas reflux system.
CONSTITUTION: A negative load of a port 39 is almost equal to an atmospheric pressure under a total load condition at time of the full opening of a throttle valve 38, so that a control valve 18 is closed and no reflux of an exhaust gas takes place. When this reflux is cut, a switch 47 is in "off" position following the closing of the valve body 22 of a reflux control valve 18 and an electromagnetic valve 46 inside an air induction passage 45 to an air bleed port 44c, one of main air bleeders 43, is opened. Then an air added from the port 44c is introduced into an air bleeder 43, so that a fuel supply from a main nozzle 41 is reduced by the quantity of an air taken into the port 44c. In addition, more of a sucked air than at time of reflux by a quantity corresponding to a refluxed exhaust gas volume is circulated through a venturi. Therefore, an air/fuel ratio is kept at a set air/fuel ratio.
