Abstract
PURPOSE: To efficiently dispose a paint sludge at a low cost and to reclaim a valuable material for paint use, by filling a waste paint in a vessel attached with a filter and provided at its upper part with a frame having a plurality of small zones, dehydrating the waste paint there, and then forcibly drying the waste paint as such.
CONSTITUTION: Collected paint sludges C are filled in each drying vessel 11. A proper number of the drying vessels 11 are piled up together, and maintained for a while, to separate a water part E through filters 2. A plurality of drying vessles 11 are then introduced into a drying furnace, and forcibly dried therein an 200W 270°C. Vapor generated from the paint sludges is effectively discharged through upper spaces 5 of a lattice frame 1. After dried and cooled, cubic bricks of the paint sludges are taken out from the vessels 11, and crashed to proper grain sinzes by a crasher. The obtained product is useful as a fuel or as a reclaimed material for paint use.
