Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce energy loss in the tuning fork base part, by improving the form of the tuning fork piezo-oscillator having a comparatively low resonance frequency to set the length of the elastic part to the 1/2 wavelength. CONSTITUTION:Tuning fork quartz oscillator 21 is composed of oscillating part 22 consisting of two oscillation arms and base part 23. Base part 23 is provided with contracted part 24, elastic part 25 connected to part 24, attenuating part 26 connected to part 25, and fixed part 27. Length L of elastic part 25 is set to the 1/2 wavelength approximately. Fixed part 27 is fixed to the supporting material, which supports and fixes the oscillator, by soldering and so on.
