Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multifrequency change-over oscillator that is inexpensive and miniature by constituting the oscillator by selecting resonators by the use of only one active element, such as FET. CONSTITUTION:With gate terminal 111 of FET110, transmission line 121 terminated by resistive terminator 140 is coupled and while (n) units of resonators 131, 132-13n differing in resonance frequency are coupled with the transmission line 121, varactor diode 150 is connected to the line. To source terminal 112 or FET110, output plug 160 is connected via transmission line 122. Then, varactor diode 150 is supplied with an external signal from an external signal supplying method to its interpole capacity and an oscillating circuit is composed of one of resonators 131, 132-13n and FET110 by varying the electric length, thereby obtaining an oscillation frequency that corresponds to the resonance frequency of the resonator.
