Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a high frequency oscillating circuit by providing a metal ring or metal plate on the dielectric side wall of a housing with an incorporated transistor. CONSTITUTION:On the top of side wall 23 of the ceramic-made housing, metal film 24 is provided and when the dielectric used as cover 25, the circumferential length of metal film 24 should be a multiple of the oscillation wavelength. Then when cover 25 is attached, transmission line 26 is formed between metal film 24 and earth conductor 17 sandwiching metal film 23. In this case, metal film 24 forms ring- shaped resonating circuit 26 and capacities between lead parts 18 and 19 as input- output terminals and metal film 24 form capacitors 27 and 28. Additionally, capacities between lead part 18 and earth conductor 17 and between lead part 19 and conductor 17 form capacitors 31 and 32. Thus, the resonating circuit is connected between input-output terminals 29 and 30 of the circuit and the housing serves as a feedback circuit, attaining simple circuit constitution which eliminates the need for an external feedback circuit.
