Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare instant noodles containing delicious ingredients for soup and servable only by pouring hot water thereto, by coagulating seasoned ingredients in the form of a disc, scattering arrowroot starch to the surface of the disc, placing the disc on instant noodles in a heat-resistant vessel, and closing the vessel.
CONSTITUTION: A proper amount of gelatine is added to water containing proper amounts of seasonings. One or more ingredients selected from pork, "shina-chiku" (Chinese damboo shoot), corn, green Welsh onion, etc. are added and placed side by side in the solution. The mixture is heated to impregnate the molten gelatine into the ingredients and the seasonings, and cooled to obtain a disc having a desired thickness. The top and the reverse surfaces of the disc are coated with thin layer of arrowroot starch, the disc is placed on instant noodles in a heat-resistant vessel made of a plastic or a metal foil, and the vessel is closed and sealed to obtain the objective instant noodle.
