Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a phosphor which emits at a good luminous efficiency from yellow light to rose light by the excitation of low-speed electron rays, by a method wherein a phosphor which emits from green light to yellowish green light is mixed with a phosphor which is electrically conductive and emits red light.
CONSTITUTION: (a) The first phosphor which emits from green light to yellowish green light by the excitation of electron rays (e.g. ZnS:Au, Al phosphor, ZnS:Cu phosphor) is mixed with the second phosphor which is electrically conductive and emits red light by the excitation of electron rays in a ratio of a:b=1:9W9:1 to obtain the desired phosphor. Examples of the second phosphor are SnO2:Eu phosphor, In2O3:Eu phosphor, (Zn1-x1Cdx1)S:Ag, Al (x1≥0.6) phosphor, (In1- x4Yx4)2 O2S:Eu (o<x4≤0.6) phosphor, etc.
