Abstract
PURPOSE:To make an orientation of magnetic fine powder in an ideal condition by a method wherein magnetic fine powder material is molded in a magnetic field while applying minute oscillations. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic fine powder is filled up in a space formed by both sides metallic molds 13, 14 and a lower metallic mold 12, with an upper metallic mold 19 being lifted, and currents are applied to magnetic field producing coils 15, 16 to provide the magnetic field to the fine powder 20 while minute oscillations in a range of 30-50kHz being applied to the fine powders by a supersonic oscillator 9. Thereupon, the fine powder 20 move with greater ease to make the orientation to in the ideal condition. Then the upper metallic mold 19 is lowered to apply a press- work to the fine powder for a prescribed shape.
