Abstract
PURPOSE: To make a mass production of molded articles having a delustered mat face by a method wherein a molten resin is filled in a metallic mold which is provided with fine rugged pattern on an internal face and is kept at a high temperature and then, a part of the metallic mold is abruptly cooled.
CONSTITUTION: A cavity plate 1 (a symbol 9 is a hot water hole and a symbol 10 is a cooling water groove) inserted with a cylinder liner 3 having a cavity face 2 formed with fine rugged patterns in a micron unit, and a protruding plate 6 installed with a core 8 form a metallic mold. Next thereto, a hot water is passed through a hot water hole 9 of a cavity plate 1 and the surface temperature of a cavity face 2 is made a glass transition point or more of a resin and thereafter, a molten resin 12 is filled in a cavity through a runner 4 and an inlet 5. And then, a cooling water is circulated in a water cooling groove 10 to abruptly cool the temperature of the cylinder liner 3 down to approximately 30W40°C and the outer surface of a molding resin 12 is abruptly cooled and cured, thus, a skin layer 13 transferred with the fine rugged pattern of the cavity face 2 is formed on a molded article.
