Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the antenna weight and to lower the cost, by constituting the antenna only with the electromagnetic wave absorbing body effective to assure the cross polarized broad radiation pattern and VSWR frequency characteristics. CONSTITUTION:A primary radiator 3 taking the circular horn of small diameter less than the wavelength as the radiation source, and a reflection mirror 2 having about 140 deg. aperture angle, realize the high gain antenna. Further, since the cross polarized broad angle radiation characteristics are improved with an electromagnetic wave absorbing body 5a mounted on the inner wall of a shielding plate 4 and VSWR is made so with an electromagnetic wave absorbing body 5b, economical and comparatively light weight antennas are obtained.
