Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The tetrafluoroethylene coating of the carrier is worn away gradually by the stirring and carrying within a developing device, and the filings are turned into the fine particles 22 electrified with the negative charge to stick to the toner 19 of positive electrification. Then the particles 22 are adsorbed to the surface of the ptotoreceptor along with the toner 19 during the developer. As the transfer roller 24 is earthed, an electric filed slope is caused between the roller 24 and the potential of the latent image on the photoreceptor.
