Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the assembling workability and the reliability of the subject super-conductive rotor by a method wherein a refrigerant tank and a torque tube are formed separately and the both ends of this cylindrical structure are welded to the torque tube. CONSTITUTION:The refrigerant tank 3 is formed with a refrigerant tank cylinder 18, which is formed separately from the torque tube 2, and this refrigerant tank cylinder 18 and cooling ducts 7a and 7b, a refrigerant lead-in tube 9, a radiant heat shield 10b, a side plates 16a and 16b and a refrigerant gas lead-out section 19 are formed into one united body of a cylindrical structure. After the cylindrical structure thus formed into one united body has been fitted on the inner circumferential side of the torque tube 2, both ends of which are welded to the torque tube 2. In this way, as the welding works on the above sections can be done easily and excellently, the assembling workability and the reliability of the welded sections can be improved.
