Abstract
PURPOSE:To easily obtain a grid which is made of a Pb-Ca system alloy and has good corrosion resistance by means of a small mechanical power, by subjecting a cast material made of a Pb-Ca system alloy to a plastic working at a high temperature to prepare a sheet having a fine crystalline structure, and subjecting the sheet to an expansion working. CONSTITUTION:A Pb-Ca system alloy, such as a billet of Pb-0.07% Ca-0.5% Sn alloy is subjected to a plastic working such as rolling or extrusion at a high temperature of over 100 deg.C, a sheet with a fine crystalline structure being obtained. Following that, the sheet undergoes an expansion working to be formed into a grid.
