Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the maintenance by connecting through the pumping plant the sample water collecting device equipped with a collecting pipe which can be lifted and lowered, and the sample reaction part.
CONSTITUTION: A sample water tank 20a equipped with a sample water inlet 21 and a sample water overflow port 22 is installed to the sample water collecting device 23 whose collecting pipe can be lifted and lowered, and also the sample water pouring pipe 29 of the sample reaction part 5 equipped with a carrier gas inlet 12, and the collecting pipe 25 are connected through the sample water pipe 26 and the pump 27. In this way, the sample water which has been continuously supplied to the sample water tank 20a is collected by the collecting pipe 25, it is carried by the pump 27, and it is supplied as a water drop 30 to the sample reaction part 5 from the sample water pouring pipe 29. Accordingly, since the watercourse of sample water is automatically cleaned, the maintenance becomes unnecessary, and also gas is not used basically for feeding the sample water by pressure; it is prevented that the drops of sample water are damaged or scattered, and the measuring reproducibility of the TOC (TOD) equipment is raised.
