Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of the operation control system and the wearing out of breaker contacts by sharing the voltage and current control functions and switching function imparted to the induction motor at the time of starting and stopping the induction motor in thyristors. CONSTITUTION:AC output side voltage and current are controlled by the gate phases of thyristors 7R-7T by a control device 11 in the open state of the breakers 10R-10T at the time of starting the motor, thereby starting the motor 6. Then, the breakers 10R-10T are closed by the control device 11, and the thyristors 7R-7T are thus shorted. For stopping, the breakers 10R-10T are made OFF by the control device 11, and gate on command is applied to the thyristors 7R-7T, and the motor is stopped by the gate phase control of the thyristors 7R-7T by the control device 11. Thus, the fluctuation applied to the AC power source system can be prevented in the starting and stopping operation of the motor.
