Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the operating gain by providing the capacitor for impedance adjustment, between the power feeding terminals of a pair of antennas connecting the two terminal variable reactance circuit to the antenna element taking greater the distributed inductance value. CONSTITUTION:Since the shorted antenna element uses metal foil low in electric resistance and is formed with the forming pattern folding required points with respective directions and angles for required number of times, then when they are continuously arranged with alternative distribution toward length and orthogonal direction, the distributed inductance is operated to be equivalent as being added with coils to cancel the reactance. Accordingly, the pattern is designed to obtain the impedance as the curve A at frequencies f1-f2-f3 of the elements 8, 8' and the impedance with the variable capacitors 12, 12' of the two terminal variable reactance circuit connected to it and the capacitor 14 inserted between the power feeding terminals cause the impedance as the curve C, allowing to increase the operating gain.
