PURPOSE:To restrain the drop of resultant horizontal directivity by providing a sub-passive reflector at the approximate center between a passive reflector and a radiating element and short-circuiting beforehand the passive reflector and the sub- passive reflector by using a short-circuit plate in the position which is separated from the feeder to the radiating element by 1/4 of the used wavelength. CONSTITUTION:Sub-passive reflector 3 is provided at the approximate center between passive reflector 1 and radiating element 2, and the short-circuit between passive reflector 1 and sub-passive reflector 3 and between passive reflector 1 and external conductors 13 and 16 are achieved by common short-circuit plate 6. At this time, short-circuit plate 6 is regulated in the position which is lambda/4 away from connection point 17 of center conductors 12 and 15 or lambda/4 away from feeder 5. By this constitution, influences on feeder 5 dependent upon sub-passive reflector 3 can be avoided, and further it is posible to cause passive reflector 1 to function as a part of the balanced-to-unbalanced transformer which can perform impedance matching throughout a wide band.
