Abstract

CONSTITUTION: On side faces of the crystal member 11 of square pole producing fluorescence by an incident radiation ray such as NaI, CaF2 etc., through a transparent and soft substance 14 strengthening the passage of light beams such as silicon oil etc., light wave guide passages 121, 122 composed of polystyrol, lime etc. are disposed, on the other side face of the crystal member 11, through a transparent and soft substance 14, P-N junction type, PIN type semiconductor light detecting element 13 is provided. Thus, by the incident radiation ray, the fluorescence generated in the crystal member 11 is incident into the semiconductor detecting element 13 directly and the fluorescent light emitted to the side of the crystal member 11 is incident into the semiconductor light detecting element 13 through the light wave guide passage 121, 122 and the using efficiency of the fluorsecent light raised to attain a predetermined puspose.
